I was born and raised in Allyn, Washington. When the family business hit hard times, both of my parents became school bus drivers- which meant I had to be the best kid on the bus.

Mom went on to retire from DOT and Dad retired from managing the South Kitsap School's Bus maintenance. They now live about 1/2 a mile away from us and have been instrumental in our girls lives. From building model boats, sewing and teaching them the local history they shared with me, to making the best cookies on the planet, my kids are lucky to have them in their lives.

I met my wife when we were both teenagers and we have been together for over 20 years now. We are lucky to be living the life we always dreamed of together. She has been a real inspiration to me and has always been supportive of my dreams. We have 3 beautiful daughters that are the light of our lives.

Our family is close and we do everything together. We love to ride quads and camp. The local drive-in is a summer tradition for us and winter walks are some of our favorite moments together.

Our girls are very proud Americans and have been on the campaign trail with me since the beginning. Everyone has a role and they do a great job supporting the cause. My wife and I have owned our own businesses and understand the pain that those who provide jobs or need jobs are feeling firsthand today.

I began my career as a volunteer firefighter at the age of 16, before being hired professionally and I graduated the Washington State Fire Academy just after my senior year in high school.  At the time I became an EMT, I was one of the youngest in Washington State to do so. I was permitted to respond to calls from my local high school and I found that I was always at my best, when serving the citizens.

I believe that our Representatives are servants of the people and just like I put my life on the line for you as your Firefighter, I will serve you to my fullest capacity as your Representative.

There are many simple solutions to our problems today. I am the leader who is not afraid to bring them to the forefront. The only special interests I have are the People of the 35th District.

Because, I know that TOGETHER WE can do BETTER!
