Most of us understand this without question. We also know that there are times, situations that come up, that cannot be helped. Dinah and I have come through this type of event, thrust upon us by the collapse of the real-estate market, and combined with injury at work. We found ourselves with much more debt than our income could support. Our solutions - cut expenses, prioritize; go without things not absolutely needed, just as you would do; tighten your belts. These are the principles I will bring to the Washington State House if I am fortunate enough to get the votes required to be elected.
The State finds itself in the same type of situation, and yet, the plan of the professional politicians is to circumvent the will of the people by overturning the referendum, which was passed by the people of this state, making the legislature get a 2/3 majority to increase taxes and to eliminating the transparency required by I-960. They just don't get it. It is not THEIR money.
